So, this woman woke us up with her speech at 8 am when we entered Glacier Bay and kept talking on and off for hours, sometimes with minute-long pauses in the middle of a sentence. I think she needs acting lessons to pump up her enthusiasm just a tad. You be the judge.

The worst part is that it did go on intermittently ALL DAY! Just when we'd think it was safe. . . .
And speaking of safe, when she quoted the poem about protecting gentle nature, all I could think was the bear researcher and his girlfriend who was killed & eaten last year - gentle? It seems to me that some training is definitely in order, but this case may be hopeless! (She was obviously a member of the genus Dronus Monotonus.)
She sounds like she's been hitting the Matanuska Thunderf*ck a little too hard. Probably just trying to make it through another summer workin' in tourism--I bet she's an aspiring slam poet with all those thoughtful pauses and all.

That's pretty bad.
